Top Thread Loops
There could be a variety of different reasons that your top thread is creating loops in the embroidery. Here are four different solutions to try:
1. You many need to change your needle as there could be a burr on the needle that causes this to happen. A new needle may correct this.
2. If you are using a polyester thread, then you many need to tighten the top thread tension.
3. Your top thread tension is not correct. Rethread your machine and floss (by pulling the thread back and forth) the thread to ensure the thread goes into the tension discs.
4. The bobbin thread tension may not be correct. Try rethreading the bobbin to apply this solution.
